Ultrasuede® Collaborates with Baolab
for Exhibition at Milano Design Week
We presented Ultrasuede® nu at “Innovating Beauty” during Milano Design Week as we collaborated with Baolab design studio.
Baolab is a creative design studio based in Milan specializing in CMF design (Colors, Materials, and Finishes) and materials research.Their work focuses on enhancing the sensory, technical and emotional qualities of products while ensuring functional excellence.Baolab offers a range of services, including CMF design, strategy, trend forecasting, material scouting and material R&D as well as workshops and educational programs.
“Innovating Beauty”
In the heart of Milan Design Week, Baolab unveils an oasis where materials and their metamorphoses come to life. This exhibition invited the visitors to join a journey of invention and innovation, immersed in a small urban jungle. They explored the potential of materials, reinterpreted through design and innovative production processes. Ultrasuede® was one of the partners of this exhibition and showcased Ultrasuede® nu.

We focused on introducing the features of Ultrasuede® nu which is exceptional tactile and appearance, made from partially plant-based feedstock. It is a luxurious and innovative material combining advanced design and functionality as new option for premium quality material from Japan.
We showed the wide variaties of Ultrasuede® nu with newest design collection. Ultrasuede® nu enhances the possibility of customers’ creations.
The visitors could not only touch and feel Ultrasuede® nu, but also experience the harmonious symbiosis between design and nature, technology and art in this wxhibition.
