Ultrasuede® proudly showcases its collaboration with the internationally acclaimed designer duo—Rui Pereira (Portugal) and Ryosuke Fukusada (Japan)—as the centerpiece of its dedicated showroom and stock sales point, newly opened in Portugal in January 2026. This space vividly embodies a world of sophisticated creation where diverse cultures seamlessly merge.

Set within a windowless industrial space, the space is inspired by French mid-century structural style, with stained birch to create an architectural envelope that contrasts with the industrial setting. Reflecting the Portuguese context of the showroom, high-gloss blue terracotta tiles by Viúva Lamego add vivid accents to the space against the micro-cement flooring, birch cladding, and exposed steel.

At the centre of the space, a pair of custom wall-mounted displays presents the Ultrasuede color range, with prototypes stored in a tiled sampling console and a lounge area furnished with the Anza collection.

A wide internal window was carved into the warehouse wall to expand the sense of openness and visually connect the meeting area to the stockroom that also features a minimal plywood table and stools upholstered in Ultrasuede finishes. （lower left）
When closed to the factory floor, the showroom transforms into a softly lit space where the warmth of birch and the tactile richness of Ultrasuede’s materials create an elevated experience against the industrial backdrop.（lower right）
